With Nuux on your mobile phone you can chat, flirt, organize, mingle and meet meet existing and new friends in the real world when you are going out.
Right now we support all major cities in US, Canada, Australia, UK, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey. We have venues listed for all all major cities in Europe of these countries and an up-to-date event data for all cities in Europe.
How does it work?
Check-in to Events or Locations
"Check-in" is a way of telling us your whereabouts. When you check-in someplace, people will see where they can find you. You can check-in to events or locations. Besides manually telling that you are somewhere, you can, if you like, also enable automatically location sharing with your friends or selected people. You location is then visible on a Map and your friends will see if you checked-in an Event or Location.
And as with photos and statuses if you want you can share your checkins to facebook.
Check out what's happening - the STREAM
The Nuux Stream tells you what's happening inside Nuux. Here you can see people in your region checking in to locations, when they commented on a event, uploaded a picture and all that. It gives you real-time information of what's just hot and what's not.
Rate and Comment Events and Locations
When you are at a cool party or if the party is totally uncool - Rate it and Comment it! You can hype a super party and make it become ever better or you can prevent others from making the same mistake.
When you look at locations you will see how just your friends rated it, and how everybody in the Nuux community rated it. This way you get a more relevant recommendation of a certain place
Events can only be rated and commented on, when they are actually happening. The idea is to get a real-time information how it really is - no promotional or advertising info.
Share Pictures for Events and Locations
Wanna show off a party you are at? Like a place or concert? Upload a picture! You can also associate pictures with your profile and share it to Facebook.
For a picture of a event or location your name will be displayed with it.
Message your friends for FREE
Remember the days you have to pay for SMS/Text Messages? They are gone for you when using Nuux. You can messaging for free in Nuux. No additional costs occur to you when you have an appropriate dataplan.
See where your friends, events, locations are on a map
You can check out a map and see where your friends, events, locations are. Besides you can also see where you are, given that your phone is able to do this.
